KUALA LUMPUR, March 21 — Malaysians can look forward to generally fair weather nationwide on the first day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri tomorrow, with most areas expected to remain dry from morning through the night.

The Malaysian Meteorological Department said that clear conditions will prevail across the Peninsula, with no rain forecast in most states throughout the day.

Only isolated morning showers are expected in parts of Perak.

The rest of the Peninsula is set to enjoy sunny and stable weather, offering ideal conditions for Aidilfitri visits and open houses.

In East Malaysia, both Sabah and Sarawak are also forecast to experience mostly fine weather, with no rain expected in most areas from morning to evening.

However, brief showers may occur in parts of Sabah’s interior at night.

Meanwhile, similar dry conditions are expected across the Peninsula on Sunday, with no rain forecast in most states throughout the day, except for parts of Kuala Lumpur, which may experience evening showers.

Rain is also forecast in several areas of Sabah from morning through the night, while Sarawak is expected to remain dry throughout the day.
