SHAH ALAM, Jan 15 — The Selangor Youth Movement (PeBS) from two local authorities are meeting with Indonesian youth representatives to empower youth programmes.

The Ampang Jaya Municipal Council's (MPAJ) PeBS reported that 23 of its representatives, along with four from the Shah Alam City Council's (MBSA) PeBS, engaged in discussions to develop impactful programmes for youth, focusing on multimedia advancement and political progress.

The programme, held from January 10 to January 12 in Malioboro, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, explored topics like entrepreneurship, preserving the historical heritage of Kota Gede, and the secrets of success in the silver industry.

“PeBS MPAJ was also invited to Gadjah Mada University (UGM) for the Cross-Nation Youth Inspiration Programme with the Selangor Youth Movement.

“The programme, organised by Gapapa Project and GIK UGM, included a talk titled 'The Grassroots Political Revolution Rooted in Empathy and Neuroscience',” PeBS said in a statement yesterday.

This cross-border regional collaboration featured contributions from Indonesia's Arie Yudistira Ishaq, while Malaysia was represented by Sheikhul Al Aziz and Ruben Raj (PeBS MPAJ) and Afif Abdullah (PeBS MBSA).
