KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 17 — Almost all states in Peninsular Malaysia, including Selangor, are forecast to be hit by thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds until 5pm today.
The Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) said in a statement that apart from Selangor, bad weather is expected throughout Perak, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, and the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.
In Kelantan, similar weather is expected in Gua Musang, while in Terengganu it will affect the Hulu Terengganu, Dungun, and Kemaman districts.
Meanwhile, in Sarawak, MetMalaysia forecast bad weather in Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei and Sibu (Sibu and Kanowit), Mukah (Tanjung Manis, Daro and Matu) and Kapit (Song).
