SHAH ALAM, Dec 23 — Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj and Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin today extended Christmas greetings to Christians, especially those in Selangor, who will celebrate the occasion on Thursday.
According to a Facebook post by the Selangor Royal Office, the Sultan said the festival should be celebrated with a spirit of joy, prosperity and unity, accompanied with gratitude for family and community.
“I hope the spirit of love and mutual respect during this Christmas celebration will continue to strengthen unity and harmony among the multiracial community in this country,” said His Royal Highness.
