SHAH ALAM, March 18 — A student from Selangor, Fatimah Nuha Mustaza, 20, who was involved in a road crash in Jordan on March 9, is recovering well.

This update was shared by her father, Mustaza Abdul Aziz, who is in Jordan visiting Fatimah, who is the second of five siblings.

He said she will be discharged soon.

“Praise be to God, Fatimah Nuh is in good condition and she has recovered quickly; she is just in hospital for doctors to monitor her health,” Mustaza said.

He added that he, with his wife Siti Alawiah Shari, are planning to bring Fatimah Nuha home to Malaysia to recuperate before she continues her studies.

“Which parent isn’t worried about their child, especially when they are thousands of miles away? Praise be to God, I was relieved to see and care for our child.

“My wife and I are thinking of bringing her home to Malaysia for a while so she can rest fully and recover,” he said.

Mustaza expressed his gratitude to Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, who visited the family to give them encouragement and a personal contribution.

“Thank you to all who have prayed (for our daughter), including the Menteri Besar’s recent visit to our home.

I hope everyone continues to pray for the recovery of Fatima Nuha and her friends involved in this incident,” he said.

On March 9, two students from Selangor were involved in a road crash in Jordan, with one of them severely injured.

Amirudin said the two students were Sumayya Azamuddin and Fatimah Nuha.

Education Malaysia Jordan posted on Facebook that Fatimah Nuha was severely injured and needed surgery.
