KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 18 — Malaysia and Tajikistan will continue to enhance bilateral relations, especially in the economic sector, education, and culture.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the matters were discussed when he received a courtesy call from the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Malaysia Ardasher Saeedjaafar Qodiri today.

"In the meeting, we discussed efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Malaysia and Tajikistan, especially in the fields of economy, education, and culture," he said via X (formerly Twitter) today.

Zahid said that Malaysia and Tajikistan share many common values, and closer cooperation will open up new opportunities for both countries.
