KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 27 — The burnt body of a man was found near the Serdang KTM station here today.
Serdang police chief A.A. Anbalagan said based on documents found at the scene, the deceased was identified as a 43-year-old Indonesian man named Udikalifan.
“Police received a report at 11.45am today about the discovery of the body by a local woman in the bushes after the U-turn tunnel near the Serdang KTM station.
“Upon arrival at the location, police found the body was burnt but not completely charred,” he said in a statement.
The body has been sent to hospital for post-mortem.
“Police are working to confirm the identity of the man. Anyone with information on missing persons is urged to go to their nearest police station to assist in the investigation,” he added.
