SHAH ALAM, Dec 9 — For operating without a business license, four vehicle workshops around Persiaran Raja Muda Musa, Port Klang were seized by the Klang Municipal Council (MPK) on Thursday.

The local authority said that all of the premises in question also do not have Planning Permission and building structure approval.

"Among the four premises are vehicle repair workshops, vehicle painting and heavy vehicle storage premises. All of them do not have a license from MPK.

"The closure of the four premises is due to operating without a license under Section 101 (1) (V) of the Local Government Act 1976 (Act 171)," he said via Facebook.

According to MPK, the Town and Country Planning Department also issued a stop notice and restored the site to its original condition in accordance with Section 19 of the Town and Country Planning Act.

"The Building Department has issued a notice to demolish the structure without approval under Section 70 (Ditch Roads and Building Act 1974) for not having Planning Permission," he said.
