SHAH ALAM, April 15 — Some 700 community leaders from all over the state enjoyed an iftar meal with Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari earlier this evening.
The breaking-fast involved village chiefs and council members, and was held at Dewan Jubli Perak in the Selangor State Secretariat Building.
Leader of the Opposition Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was also in attendance when the event began at 6.30pm.
Leading up to the fast-breaking, a brief sermon titled 'Santapan Minda – Jiwa Pekerja' was delivered by Zaheen Travel pilgrimage guidance head Mohd Nizam Kamaruzaman.
Following the meal, the Menteri Besar and the attendees fulfilled their congregational Maghrib prayers.
