SHAH ALAM, March 13 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim attended the Madani Fast-Breaking Gathering with Selangor's local community leaders this evening.
Held at Dewan Raja Muda Musa in Section 7, the event was also attended by Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar and Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari.
In his speech at the event, Amirudin expressed his hope that the gathering would strengthen unity and enhance the leadership bond between the Federal and state levels.

"Let this Ramadan be a blessing that unites us. Within our group, we must be in agreement and remain united.
"Let us uphold this element, as it is the recipe for success, and every state team should carry this responsibility.
"If we remain steadfast and committed to continuous efforts, we will achieve success," he said.
In conjunction with the fasting month of Ramadan, Anwar will visit various states to attend the Madani Fast-Breaking Gatherings.
Earlier, the Tambun MP held a development meeting with the state's top administration before meeting the public at the Ramadan Bazaar in Section 2.
