SHAH ALAM, June 15 — Application for the RM500 special assistance for persons with disabilities (OKU) that was recently announced in the Kita Selangor Package 2.0 will be open starting July 1.
Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari in a Facebook post announced that the initiative will benefit 1,200 OKU in Selangor whose incomes are affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The application has to be made online at the link www.anisselangor.com/bantuanoku and to get more information contact the hotline 0182567093 / 0182356213.
In the same post, Amirudin also shared the eligibility criteria which are a Malaysian citizen, aged 18 and above and holder of the Selangor Social Welfare Department (JKM) OKU card.
The Kita Selangor Package 2.0 announced by Amirudin on June 9 has allocated RM600,000 for OKU whose income is affected or lost their permanent job and salary reduced due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
