SHAH ALAM, NOV 17: The Mesra Usia Emas (SMUE) Scheme is carried on through aid given out to eligible recipients in the rural areas.
In a latest development, six recipients from Selat Klang constituency received aid through the first phase of this scheme with a total of RM1,000 each.
Also present to give out the aid was Selat Klang Assemblyman Dr Halimah Ali, who was at the Flat Seri Perantau, Kampung Delek Kiri, Jalan Yadi and Jalan Tepi Sungai.
In her statement, Halimah hoped that the money will be used for beneficial purposes.
“Use this money in the best way possible, especially to Muslims, pay all your debts.
“This aid can also be used for the purposes of performing hajj, donate for ‘jariah’ and other beneficial purposes,” she said.
The SMUE scheme is the State Government’s initiative to help beneficiaries of applicants who have passed away.
This aid is also for Selangor citizens regardless of religion and race.
It is to reduce the burden of beneficiaries and ensure they can continue their lives as best as possible.
