SHAH ALAM, SEP 21: The public has the opportunity to participate in the Smart Selangor Open Day at the Selangor ICT Fair 2016, at Encorp The Strand Mall, Petaling Jaya, on September 24 and 25.
Smart Selangor Delivery Unit (SSDU) Deputy Director Dr Fahmi Ngah said that all Smart Selangor programme developments will be shared for the public’s knowledge during the two days.
“At the same time, we want to gather feedback from the rakyat regarding what we have done so far.
“Their feedback must be taken into consideration to improve the programme under the Smart Selangor brand,” he told SelangorKini.
Dr Fahmi said that SSDU would operate eight booths at the Selangor ICT Fair 2016.
“Besides Open Day, we will also exhibit a ‘Smart City’ model made of Lego at one of the booths.
“We will also demonstrate how drones can be used for data capture,” he said.
SSDU previously organised the Smart Selangor Lab to get feedback from government agencies and state government subsidiaries.
A similar programme was held to get input from elected officials and the private sector.
