Khalid: "I am Stingy Because I Safeguard the People's Money"

"The reason I want to say that I was taught by my mother when I was the manager at PNB involving managements of huge amounts of money, reaching hundreds of millions.

"Therefore, my mother asked, about investing hundreds of millions, if I had counted the money?

"She told me that it is necessary to count the money because if the money is lost, our family cannot afford to pay it back.

"So you cannot lose the money, it is yours and the family's responsibility to take care of it," said Abdul Khalid who is also the Port Klang Assemblyman.

"Because there is now RM2.6 billion in the state reserves and to not safeguard the money would curse the people.

"I have to use the money well and now I will spend it well."
