SHAH ALAM, Jan 5 — Water supply in all eight areas in Hulu Selangor have fully restored as at 6am today, said Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor).
The areas experienced unscheduled water supply disruptions following the suspension of Sungai Selisek Water Treatment Plant on Sunday in light of rising water levels at the surface intake as a result of continuous downpour.
“Air Selangor would like to thank the consumers for their patience and cooperation during this unscheduled water supply disruption,” said the statement issued today.
Yesterday, Air Selangor announced that water supply in seven out of eight affected areas in Hulu Selangor was fully restored as at 6.30pm, with only Kampung Orang Asli as still undergoing and was expected to recover by 7am today.
Consumers are advised to get official information on water supply disruption through Air Selangor’s official communication channels via its mobile application, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter as well as its website at www.airselangor.com.
