PUTRAJAYA, May 20 — Medical Tweet Malaysia (MedTweetMY), a non- government organisation, and Mydin are providing shopping vouchers, worth RM100,000 to 3,285 medical health assistants (PPK) at 45 Health Ministry’s Covid-19 and hybrid hospitals nationwide.
The shopping vouchers, for redeeming at the Mydin supermarket chain, were handed over to the Medical Assistant Board Head medical assistant officer Dr Md Zaki Othman by Deputy Health Minister Datuk Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali at the Health Ministry today.
According to Dr Noor Azmi, the Grade U11 PPK’s task, among others, are to carry out cleaning and preparing of health facilities, managing waste at health facilities and to assist in the treatment of patients.
“They (PPK) are the people who are always forgotten and the vouchers are given in appreciation of their contributions in helping to fight the Covid-19 outbreak," he said.
