SHAH ALAM, March 23 — Transformations at the Sungai Buloh Hospital’s Emergency and Trauma Department (ETD) have significantly improved patient experience following facility upgrades and service enhancements.
Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said key improvements include the provision of a more comfortable Discharge Lounge and upgrades to the Green Zone Registration Counter to make it more patient-friendly.
He added that these efforts not only make matters easier for patients but also streamline the workflow of healthcare personnel.
“As a result, patient satisfaction has increased markedly, with the Google rating rising from an average of 3.0 to 4.7 within three months,” Dr Dzulkefly said in a Facebook post.
He also expressed appreciation to the hospital’s ETD team for their commitment to improving service quality, while emphasising that efforts to enhance patient experience will continue to be strengthened at healthcare facilities nationwide.
“Well done to the entire ETD team at the Sungai Buloh Hospital for their strong commitment to improving the patient experience,” Dr Dzulkefly said.
