SHAH ALAM, Feb 1 — The Sepang Municipal Council (MPSepang) has approved approximately 10,315 business licences across various categories for this year.

Its President Ani Ahmad said the approvals are in line with its licensing requirements to ensure business operations are conducted legally, in an orderly manner, and in compliance with regulations.

“Traders who fail to renew their business licences may be compounded up to a maximum of RM1,000 in accordance with the applicable by-laws,” she said when delivering her address during the local authority's first full council meeting recently.

Meanwhile, Ani said that MPSepang has provided 657 Ramadan bazaar lots, with 611 traders, across 12 locations this year.

The locations include Cyberjaya, Dengkil, Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi, Sepang Putra, Taman Mas, SIC, and Kip Mall.
