Mohamad said this when asked about updates in the disappearance of the actress, who became uncontactable after transiting at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah en route from Kuala Lumpur to London.

He added that the Malaysian consulate is working with Saudi police to ensure search efforts are carried out smoothly and effectively.

“We must place our trust in the competence of the police, and we ask her family to remain calm. We will continue to do our best to locate her,” he said.

Mohamad stressed that the travel agency responsible for arranging Nadia’s trip must also play a role in managing the missing person case.
