CyberSecurity Malaysia unveils digital resilience plan

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 8 — CyberSecurity Malaysia has unveiled its Digital Resilience Programme, aimed at strengthening cybersecurity for large corporations, institutions, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and individuals.

Developed in partnership with a leading cyber takaful and risk advisory corporation, this initiative addresses the growing challenges of protecting sensitive data, amid evolving cyber threats.

“The Digital Resilience Programme provides a comprehensive range of solutions, including cyber takaful, risk consulting, and strategic risk management services.

“These solutions are designed to help organisations and individuals proactively manage and mitigate cyber risks, ensuring continued operational resilience against emerging threats,” said CyberSecurity Malaysia in a statement.

To commemorate the preview, CyberSecurity Malaysia hosted the Digital Resilience Forum, titled “To Insure or Not To Insure”.

The forum featured a panel of distinguished experts: Permodalan Nasional Malaysia Bhd chief information security officer Aishah Farha; Marsh Insurance Brokers (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd senior vice-president Devakumaran Palnisamy; Axiata Group Bhd group head of cybersecurity Suresh Sankaran Srinivasan; Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd chief information security officer Ismamuradi Abdul Kadir; and Intellize Tech Services chief strategy officer Kavitha Muthy, who served as a moderator.

The Digital Resilience Programme offers tailored solutions for large corporations, institutions, SMEs, and individuals. It serves as a crucial safety net to address the unique challenges faced by businesses and individuals in the digital era.

This programme marks the official unveiling of CyberSecurity Malaysia’s comprehensive digital security solution, for all sectors and individuals.
