SHAH ALAM, FEB 23 — The Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) has confiscated a lorry that was dumping illegal waste along Jalan Kuala Kubu Bharu - Rasa Ladang Ulu Selangor.
In a Facebook post, it said the action against the lorry was carried out by MPHS' Enforcement Department yesterday.
"This is in accordance with By-Law 4 of the MDHS By-Laws on Collection, Removal and Disposal of Garbage 2007," said the council said.
MPHS has also rquested the public pass on information if any evidence of such behaviour is discovered, or to track individuals and companies that dump illegal waste in the district.
"MPHS is also offering rewards to complainants, once these irresponsible individuals are caught," it said.
