AMPANG JAYA, Dec 11 — DatumCorp International Sdn Bhd (DCI) has received recognition from the Malaysia Book of Record (MBOR) for installing the longest Selangor flag measuring 45.4 metres on the Datum Jelatek sky bridge on December 9.

Its chief executive officer Mohd Azmil Abd Shukor said the history was created in conjunction with the 77th birthday of the  Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

“This achievement is also a sign of loyalty and appreciation of DCI management and staff to the Sultan of Selangor and the state government," he said.

Mohd Azmil said previously, DCI was also recognised in the MBOR for installing the longest Jalur Gemilang flag of 44.1 metres at the Datum Jelatek sky bridge in conjunction with Malaysia Day celebrations on September 16.

DCI is a fully-owned subsidiary of the Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor.

The company developed the whole Datum Jelatek complex encompassing four blocks of apartments which are connected by a sky bridge and a shopping centre.
