KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 8 — Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah granted an audience to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Land Forces Commander Major General Saeed Rashid Al Shehhi in Abu Dhabi yesterday.
According to a post on the Istana Negara Facebook today, His Majesty and Major General Saeed discussed military cooperation between Malaysia and UAE based on the mutual interests of the two countries at the hour-long meeting which started at 11am local time.
"The session was part of the activities lined up for His Majesty’s four-day special visit to Abu Dhabi, undertaken on the personal invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which ended yesterday," the statement said.
Istana Negara said Al-Sultan Abdullah was scheduled to return home today.
