SHAH ALAM, June 14 — Holders of unused scratch-and-display parking coupons in Kuala Langat could still transfer the value of the coupons to the Smart Selangor Parking (SSP) app, until June 29.
Kuala Langat Municipal Council (MPKL) said users need to come to the local authority’s office to do the transaction.
“Do not let it expire and cannot be used. Convert its value into credits in your SSP app.
“You can do so by coming to the parking area at MPKL in Jalan Suasa Banting before June 30,” said the agency on Facebook.
MPKL also reminded the public to bring only unscratched or unused coupons for the exchange.

As of April 18, approximately 57,518 scratch-and-display parking coupons have been converted to e-coupons involving nearly RM40,000 in transactions.
Those who were using scratch-and-display parking coupons are required to register as SSP users to transfer the remaining value of these coupons into credits starting on March 26.
The initiative was decided after taking into account the concerns of consumers who face losses following the enforcement of the digital parking system.
