SHAH ALAM, Nov 5 — Entrepreneurs wishing to apply for Selangor Hijrah Foundation’s (Hijrah) three new financing schemes can do so through the state agency's branches, starting yesterday.

Its executive director Datuk Seri Mohamad Suparadi Md Noor said an online application service via the link http://167.172.13.68/ will be implemented soon.

“Hijrah invites entrepreneurs who want to recover and restart their businesses to immediately apply for funding through the three new schemes.

"For the time being, they can apply through the Hijrah branches located in each district, and soon via online," he said yesterday.

On October 27, Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari launched the Hijrah’s i-Lestari, i-Agro and i-Bermusim schemes based on an Islamic concept.

The scheme was introduced for entrepreneurs to rehabilitate and restart businesses that were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Amirudin said the loan amount has been increased from RM50,000 to RM100,000 to enable business expansion.

Here is a further description of the three schemes:

1. i-Lestari Scheme

Offers higher additional capital between RM51,000 to RM100,000

Offered to existing entrepreneurs who want to further grow their business

2. Agro Scheme

Offered to entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector (provision of food supply hubs), livestock and aquaculture

Additional capital between RM1,000 to RM50,000

3. i-Bermusim Scheme

Specially for entrepreneurs who need working capital for seasonal businesses such as Ramadan bazaars, festive bazaars and seasonal fruit stalls

Assistance in rehabilitating and expanding existing part time business branches within a short period of time
