SHAH ALAM, Oct 28 —The Teen Vaksin Selangor (Selvax) programme for those aged 12 and above will be held at Dewan Serbaguna Komuniti Blok G in Apartment Flora Damansara, on this Saturday (October 30)
Based on the poster shared by health exco Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud on Facebook, the same programme will also take place at Dewan Kompleks Sukan Pandamaran on Sunday (October 31)
Open to both locals and foreign citizens, the programme is specifically meant for participants who have not yet received their first vaccination dose, or missed the appointment for their second Selvax dose.
The public must register in advance via the SELangkah app, by pressing on the VAX button and entering the correct voucher code.
Here are the steps to register:
1. Download SELangkah on either the Playstore or Appstore. Click on the SELangkah icon for the registration process.
2. Press the 'VAX' button.
3. Press on appointments.
4. Press on review appointments.
5. Press the purple box.
6. Enter the voucher code, based on the nearest vaccination centre's location.
7. Press next.
8. Select a date.
At least 10,000 teenagers are targeted for inoculation under Selvax Teen, which began on October 24 at Dewan Serbaguna Pandamaran Jaya.
Earlier on October 7, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari announced the state vaccination programme would be expanded to teenagers, involving 150,000 doses, after the Health Ministry granted its approval.
Prior to this, Selangor launched Selvax Komuniti dan Selvax Industri to complete and expedite the vaccination process for residents in the state.
