SERDANG, Oct 30 — The naked body of a woman with her hands tied was discovered near the Blue Water Estate roundabout in Seri Kembangan yesterday afternoon.
Serdang district police chief ACP Muhamad Farid Ahmad said his department received a call from a member of the public at 3.45pm alerting them to the discovery.
“Checks at the location revealed the victim to be a woman, nationality yet to be identified, with a height of approximately 144 centimetres, blonde shoulder-length hair, and long fingernails.
“The victim was also wearing silver earrings in both ears and a green and red cloth bracelet, and had a tattoo on her right arm,” he said in a statement last night.
Further investigations are being carried out under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
Farid urged members of the public with information on the incident to contact the Serdang district police headquarters at 03-8074 2222 or any nearby police station to assist in the investigation.
