Ex Gasak tests Subang Airport's readiness to face sabotage threats

SHAH ALAM, Oct 21 — The Ex Gasak emergency simulation exercise, held at Subang Airport on Tuesday (October 14), aimed to test the coordination and readiness of security and airport operations agencies in responding to potential sabotage and aggressive threats.

Subang Airport manager Ahmad Fikri Samsudin said the full-scale exercise simulated various scenarios that could disrupt daily operations, including hazardous chemical leaks and high-profile kidnapping incidents.

“As the airport operator, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) continues to work closely with all stakeholders as part of our ongoing commitment to the safety of passengers and the airport community,” he said.
