SHAH ALAM, Oct 17 — Police have detained a 14-year-old boy for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl at a school in Sabak Bernam, near here, on October 13.
Sabak Bernam district police chief Supt Md Yusoff Ahmad said the incident, involving a 15-year-old victim, allegedly took place during recess at about 9.30 am.
“The arrest was made on the same day (October 13) at Jalan Parit, Sungai Besar, and the suspect has been remanded for four days from October 14,” he said in a statement today.
The case is being investigated under section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
