He said although the PADE, which is the pride of Selangor, is undergoing comprehensive upgrades, the welfare of tenants there is being minded with payment exemptions and the provision of alternative facilities throughout the work period.

Amirudin believes that with the modern infrastructure, thorough preparation and the people’s support, the Selangor contingent will be able to regain its glory and emerge overall champion.

He said these efforts are not just meant for success at Sukma 2026, but to produce the next generation of athletes, build the state’s economy, and elevate the prestige of national sports.

“Together, let’s make Sukma 2026 the pride and glory of Selangor and all Malaysians!” Amirudin said.
