WASHINGTON, July 2 — United States (US) President Donald Trump has said that he has struck a trade deal with Vietnam and would announce details later.
"I just made a Trade Deal with Vietnam. Details to follow!" he posted on Truth Social on Wednesday.
Trump made the post after it was believed he had held a call with Vietnam regarding the status of trade talks, according to two people familiar with the plans.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
