SEPANG, June 27 — Police have detained a man and two women over the suspected murder of a university student, whose body was found in a condominium in Cyberjaya on Tuesday.
Sepang police chief Norhizam Bahaman said the trio, aged 19 to 20, were arrested in Johor and Negeri Sembilan within 48 hours after police received a report on the incident.
“They are believed to be known to the victim,” he said in a statement today.
Police have applied for a remand order at the Sepang Sessions Court to facilitate investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
Norhizam reminded the public not to share false information that could interfere with the investigation.
