SHAH ALAM, May 24 — Approximately 4,260 job vacancies across various sectors will be offered via the Selangor Jobcare Roadshow Carnival in the Petaling district today.
State executive councillor for human resources and poverty eradication V. Papparaidu said 4,178 job opportunities are available within Selangor, while 82 more are located in other states.
“29 employers will participate in this programme, offering over 4,178 job opportunities in Selangor, with salaries exceeding RM2,000 per month,” he said on Wednesday (May 21).
Among the five employers offering attractive salaries include Parkson Corporation Sdn Bhd, Mydin Mohamed Holdings Sdn Bhd, Longi Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Infinity Logistics and Transport Sdn Bhd, and Carsome Sdn Bhd.

Papparaidu added that the carnival provides employment opportunities for disabled persons.
Employers hiring disabled persons include KyoChon Sdn Bhd (for individuals with learning disabilities), 99 Speedmart Sdn Bhd (for those who are mute, hearing-impaired, or have learning disabilities), and Nando’s Malaysia (for those with hearing, speech, and learning impairments).
The carnival will be held at the Petaling Jaya City Council's (MBPJ) SS3 Multipurpose Hall, and job seekers can register at https://bit.ly/jobcarepetaling or scan the QR code on the poster.
Following this, the Selangor Jobcare Roadshow will continue in seven more districts:
- Kuala Langat (June 21 at Dewan Sri Jugra)
- Hulu Selangor (July 5 at Dewan Merdeka KKB)

- Klang (September 27 at Dewan Hamzah)
