SHAH ALAM, March 9 — The application deadline for those interested in the Selangor Care Accelerator 2025 (XCare) programme has been extended from tomorrow to March 31.
State executive councillor for women empowerment and welfare Anfaal Saari said 30 applicants will receive their participation offers on April 7, and the intensive workshop, comprising 13 modules, will start in mid-April.
“We have seen high reception, but face problems due to incomplete documents. Only around 10 applicants had everything complete. The application (period) has been extended so more people can register and benefit from the programme.
“We recommend that owners, be they companies or individuals, to take this opportunity and ensure higher income,” Anfaal told Media Selangor.
Launched in February, the inaugural programme helps participants receive guidance from industry leaders and stand a chance to visit local care industry facilities.
XCare culminates in a pitching contest where 10 participants are chosen for the final, five of whom will be rewarded with an industry visit abroad.
