PDRM announces transfers of 13 senior officers effective April 7

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 26 — The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has announced the transfer of 13 senior officers, effective April 7.

PDRM secretary Datuk Kamaruzaman Abdullah said the transfers include Bukit Aman's Special Branch II deputy director Datuk Ibrahim Darus, who has been appointed as Bukit Aman's E1 Special Branch deputy director.

Meanwhile, Bukit Aman's Special Branch Counter-Terrorism Division (E8) principal assistant director DCP Normah Ishak has been appointed as Special Branch II deputy director, with an acting rank of CP.

“Also involved in the transfer is SAC Saifullizan Ishak, Principal Assistant Director (Intelligence/Operations) of the Standard Compliance Division, Integrity and Standards Compliance Department at Bukit Aman.

"He has been appointed as Sarawak Deputy Police Commissioner, with an acting rank of DCP,” he said in a statement today.

Bukit Aman's Special Branch E8A assistant director SAC Azman Abd Razak will assume the role of E8 Special Branch's principal assistant director, with an acting rank of DCP.

Additionally, Negeri Sembilan Special Branch chief ACP Faizal Ibrahim has been appointed as the Selangor Special Branch chief, while the General Operations Force in Pahang's Eastern Brigade deputy commander ACP Nasri Mansor will assume the position of the Eastern Sabah Security Command's Special Team chief of staff, under the Home Ministry.

“Both officers will hold the acting rank of SAC,” Kamaruzaman said.

Other transfers include the Sabah Criminal Investigation Department's Special Investigation Unit's Staff Officer D9 Supt Alhusin Halil, who has been appointed as the the Sabah Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department's head with an acting rank of ACP.
