State executive councillor for housing and culture Datuk Borhan Aman Shah said an estimated 20,000 visitors had attended as of Friday (January 24). This inaugural carnival is part of the state’s efforts to boost the Visit Selangor Year 2025 campaign.

The event also highlights traditional game competitions including gasing pangkah (spinning tops), tali getah (rubber band games), dam gergasi (giant checkers), congkak, batu seremban, and terompah gergasi (giant clogs).
