SHAH ALAM, Dec 26 — Tourism Selangor plans to expand its Hop-On Hop-Off double-decker bus service statewide, following the positive reception since its introduction in Sepang last year.
Tourism Selangor chief executive officer Azrul Shah Mohamad said Klang was the latest destination added due to its diverse attractions and growing visitor interest.
“In conjunction with Visit Selangor Year 2025, we are collaborating with the Klang Royal City Council, as … it is rich in attractions, including food hubs, historic buildings, shopping malls, and sustainable mangrove forests. We identified Klang as a promising area for expansion, after Sepang,” he told Media Selangor.

Launched in June last year, the service in Sepang provides tourists with a unique open-top bus experience, stopping at key attractions, including a dragonfruit farm featuring Malaysia’s largest dragonfruit sculpture, which measures three storeys.
The service has drawn about 1,500 tourists, covering 10 notable destinations.
It has now been expanded to Klang as part of Visit Selangor Year 2025, and will be fully operational from the end of this month.
The Klang service picks up tourists from Port Klang and stops at the Royal Gallery, GM Klang, Pasar Jawa, among others, ending at Taman Mangrove Point.
