KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 11 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim extended his congratulations to Sultan of Selangor Sultan Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj for the ruler’s 79th official birthday celebration today.
In his Facebook post, Anwar said he prays Sultan Sharafuddin and Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, as well as the entire Selangor royal family, are granted good health and long lives.
In conjunction with the ruler’s birthday, 94 people were conferred with state awards, medals and honours in an investiture ceremony at Istana Alam Shah today.
