KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 4 — The champions of the 14th Season of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) Malaysia Professional League, the Selangor Red Giants revived their chances to advance to the knockout rounds of the MLBB M6 World Championship after picking up an important victory in the fourth match of the Swiss stage against China’s Keep Best Gaming at IOI City Mall Putrajaya today.
In the best-of-3 format match, Michael Angelo Bocado’s men showed a brilliant performance when they won the first match with 11 kills in four in over 14 minutes for a 1-0 lead.
They continued to maintain the momentum in the second game with a stylish victory of 10 kills without reply to confirm a 2-0 unanimous decision victory.
Meanwhile, another Malaysian team, Team Vamos, managed to avoid early elimination after defeating Turkey’s S2G 2-0.
The two Malaysian teams each need only one more win to secure a place in the knockout stage scheduled for Saturday.
