SHAH ALAM, Dec 4 — Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated), or MBI, yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding with Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) to empower the state’s economy through the Sabak Bernam Development Area (Sabda).
MBI said on Facebook that the strategic cooperation aims to establish a two-way sharing of expertise, experience, resources and knowledge.
“It is also to develop and increase economic opportunities under Sabda.
“MBI will act as a facilitator with state government agencies, while UiTM researchers will run studies on Sabda,” it said.
It said the knowledge and results of the study will be used to improve and continuously develop Sabda, in line with goals in the First Selangor Plan.
