PM freezes Cabinet members’ leaves amid floods nationwide

PUTRAJAYA, Nov 29 — Leave days for all Cabinet members have been frozen due to flooding in the country, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said.

He said all ministers and deputy ministers have been instructed to visit flood-hit areas to provide necessary assistance.

“All ministers have been told to (visit flooded areas). Yes, leave has been frozen for them,” he said when asked whether leave days for his Cabinet would be frozen amid the ongoing disaster.

Anwar was met after he performed Friday prayers with over 500 congregants at Surau Pudina, Precinct 17, here today.
