KOTA KINABALU, Sept 15 — The Malaysia Day celebration tomorrow at Padang Merdeka here will be “very special”, especially with interesting performances, said Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil.
After the full rehearsal last night, Fahmi, who is also National Day and Malaysia Day 2024 Main Committee chairman, said several touch-ups will be made.
“I think this celebration will be very special… Some issues including audio hitches will be attended to after we get feedback, especially from participants,” he told reporters after the full rehearsal of the event at Padang Merdeka here last night.
“In this historic event, we will enjoy performances by an array of top artists to celebrate Malaysia Day,” he said.
Meanwhile, Sabah Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Christina Liew said everyone is invited to Padang Merdeka here to join in celebration tomorrow.
