KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 9 — Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB), which was recently hit with an additional tax bill of RM1.39 billion from the Inland Revenue Board, was instructed by the High Court today to attend the hearing for the leave application for the judicial review on October 15.
Separately, the High Court granted an interim stay on the enforcement of the notices of additional assessment until that date, the utility company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.
On August 19, TNB received notices of additional assessment for the years of assessment 2020 and 2021, amounting to RM685.82 million and RM705.24 million, respectively.
