SHAH ALAM, July 22 — Ex-Kuala Langat mayor Dato’ Amirul Azizan Abd Rahim has been appointed Subang Jaya mayor, effective today.
The appointment letter was handed over by State Secretary Dato’ Haris Kasim, said the Selangor State Secretariat in a Facebook post.
The appointment ceremony was also attended by Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato’ Mohd Yazid Sairi.
The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) in a Facebook post welcomed Amirul’s appointment, and said his leadership will strengthen the local authority.
“May the new mayor further enhance the MBSJ administrative machinery so we can deliver the best service to the city’s community,” it said.
