KUALA LUMPUR, June 27 — Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) is adding two electric train service (ETS) carriages and 2,520 tickets, including for the business coaches, for the Padang Besar-KL Sentral route and vice versa in conjunction with Awal Muharram on July 7.
KTMB said the additional trains will operate for four days from July 5, and tickets will be available from tomorrow at 10am.
The additional carriages include train number 9283, which departs Padang Besar at 11.05am and arrives in KL Sentral at 4.30pm.
Another train, number 9286, departs KL Sentral at 5pm and arrives in Padang Besar at 10.20pm.
KTMB advised travellers to purchase tickets early to benefit from more economical fares.
The public is encouraged to buy tickets on the KTMB mobile app or on the KTMB website.
