SHAH ALAM, April 8 — The Sentosa state constituency has provided contributions in the form of essential Hari Raya Aidilfitri goods and duit raya to over 100 asnaf (tithe recipients) and single mothers from the area.
Its state assemblyman Dr G Gunarajah said the essential items include rice and were donated to assist those in need to prepare for the festive season.
"This is to help the Muslim community in need so everyone can celebrate Aidilfitri this year without exception.
"The recipients come from areas like Taman Sentosa, Kampung Jawa, Botanik, and Pendamar.
"May this assistance help those in need celebrate Aidilfitri with their beloved families in a more festive manner," he said during the distribution ceremony today.
