SHAH ALAM, March 17 — A total of four mosques and 33 surau in the Taman Templer state constituency received RM90,500 in donation in conjunction with the month of Ramadan.
Its assemblyman Anfaal Saari said the contribution is meant to help the premises management with conducting activities during the holy month.
She added that the donation is courtesy of her state constituency office and the Selayang parliament.
“I am grateful because previously, I used to donate as an Ampang Jaya Municipal Council member. This year, I was able to carry out my responsibilities in handing out the contributions as an assemblyman.”
She said this in a Facebook post last night after attending a fast breaking and donation distribution ceremony with the management of mosques and surau in Taman Templer.
Also present was Selayang MP William Leong.
