KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 19 — The Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department confirmed a monorail tyre caught fire at the Titiwangsa Monorail Station today.
A Fire Department spokesman said they received an emergency call at 12.57 pm today and a team was rushed to the scene.
"Upon arrival, our men found the monorail tyre ablaze and had fallen onto the road. The fire was successfully extinguished by directing a stream of water from the fire engine pump.
“There were no casualties, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation," the spokesman said.
