KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 5 — The state government, in cooperation with the Housing and Local Government Ministry, are reviving three derelict projects in Selangor, with a total value of RM7.25 million.

State executive councillor for housing Borhan Aman Shah said this is carried out via the allocation from the 2023 Budget Initiative for the Revival of Derelict Private Housing Projects.

The projects involve 325 housing units in Meru, Klang, including Taman Meru Makmur Lot 2223 and 2224 (100 units), Taman Meru Makmur Lot 2225 (30 units), and Pangsapuri Impian Meru (195 units).

"It has already been initiated and is expected to be completed by 2025," he said after officiating the BPEX Home Expo at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre yesterday

Borhan added the state government via the Selangor Housing and Property Board (LPHS) is committed to addressing the issue of stalled projects.

"LPHS, as a monitoring agency, always strives to ensure stalled projects which can be revived, are completed and obtain the Certificate of Fitness for Occupation (CFO)," he said.
