SUBANG JAYA, Nov 2 — The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) conducted a joint disaster preparedness exercise with three security agencies for the anticipated northeast monsoon (MTL).

Subang Jaya Deputy Mayor Datuk Mohd Zulkurnain Che Ali said the two-day simulation, which began yesterday, aims to train rescue personnel to face actual disaster scenarios.

"Today, we are conducting a safety training session with the police from the Subang Jaya and Serdang district police headquarters, the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), and the Malaysian Civil Defence Force.

"MBSJ's preparedness context in facing MTL encompasses not only rescue assets and facilities but also our members' readiness to face challenges," he said.
